Traveling in Phu Quoc, Vietnam

Phu Quoc Swimming

Things have been insane. I’ve been home for about a week in the past two months. Traveling and working across China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia, with more work coming up in Japan, Singapore, and the UK. So the blog has taken a bit of a backseat while I find myself editing four or five things at once, struggling to stay on deadlines.

Yesterday I finished up a five-day shoot at the amazing La Veranda Resort on Phu Quoc Island in southern Vietnam. Now I’m off to Hanoi and Halong Bay for a much-needed week of vacation. So for now, here’s a quick picture from an uninhabited private island several hours away from the hotel. True bliss and beauty and solitude.

  1. Hey Aaron what a setting and clarity of the water. Its sizzling summer where I am in India and your photo makes me want to dive right in!! If wishes were horses…… Do check out my site as well and give me your insight.

  3. How spooky! Joined WordPress just today to blog about my up-coming travels in Asia. Will be going to Hanoi, Bai Tu Long Bay (supposedly less crowded than Halong Bay) – and then a few days on Phu Quoc Island! I look forward to reading your updates.

  4. This blog is by far one of my favourites. Your lifestyle and photography are so interesting. My girlfriend is an enthusiastic photographer, do you have any advice for her on how to succeed as you have?

  5. After four years in Vietnam I STILL have not visited Phu Quoc.

Thank you for the extra push!

Loving your images. Far and above the majority of what I’ve seen of this beautiful country.

  6. Really nice pic. You are so lucky to be there in the very right time for such beautiful weather and clear water. I have several visits during last 3 years but had no luck of that. 😦
