I’m spending some time on the Saigon River in southern Vietnam, shooting at the An Lam Resort. There are crickets and small ripples and rustling leaves and not much else. A few fishermen cutting a lazy course downstream. Buzzing lanterns swaying in the breeze. This is my last assignment from a very busy year and I miss being home and everything that comes along with it. So here’s to two more nights and then the holidays. Thanks to everyone following the blog and giving even a minuscule shit about what I do for a living. Et cetera. Et cetera.

Hi Aaron,
Enjoy your time back home and all that comes with that. Your travels probably take its toll on you and your loved ones but consider it part of a price paid for a very unique job and an opportunity to share your talents and travels with us. Happy Holidays. By the way, Kathy and I went on another photo safari recently to Botswana and Victoria Falls through Johannesburg and took her son. Very nice but Saruni and the Masai Mara remain very special to us.
Peace be with you, etc etc!
Happy Holidays! Peace and Prosperity 😀
Ciao

Stunning. The colors are amazing. I also like her in the shadows. Neat shot.
Hi Aaron Joel,
Love this resort. I’m going to Hanoi on august. I would like to know if you have any resort recommendation somewhere in old quarter and nin binh? or any trip recommendations and tips in general. 🙂 Thank you.
