I don’t do a lot of fashion shoots here in Vietnam, but I always enjoy them when they crop up. Even when things (kind of inevitably) get complicated. This was my third time working with Sula Clothing, out of the UK, and it was by far our most difficult shoot to date. Garments were seized at customs, certain items were made incorrectly, dyes were the wrong colors, and so on. Had it been happening to someone else, it may have been comical to see. The shoot almost didn’t happen; the designer almost made a trip to Vietnam for nothing. Luckily, we were able to salvage some of the pieces, and one of my favorite models in Vietnam, Pham Trang, was available to work with us. Here are some photographs from the day.
