On Assignment | Cambodia

I’ll be in Battambang and Siem Reap for the next few days on assignment. My local number is +855.13.965.978. In case you want to call and ask me if my fridge is running. Or give me more work. The latter being obviously better.

These images are from the plane flying in. I promise I’ll get back to posting non-aerial photography in the next post. It’s just that the outskirts of Siem Reap are so odd and photogenic. Lots of mottled greens and browns, with a few rivers thrown in for good measure. And eerily empty. The pilot, between announcements informing us that it would be a “moderately uncomfortable decent”, also pointed out a few of the ancient Angkor water reserves, one of which you can almost see in the top image. Far off in the distance. Just there.
