About a month ago, I was sent out by Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia to shoot a fashion spread on the streets of Vietnam’s capital. The idea was to pick one neighborhood and find young stylish locals and talk to them about where they shop and hang out in Hanoi. A very similar take to the now-classic Sartorialist style. I ended up haunting around Hai Ba Trung district and the shopping mall at Vincom Towers. The above spread was the magazine’s choice for their December issue. Including the ever-fashionable Tran Hung from his namesake salon and a chance encounter with popular Vietnamese model (and singer?) Ha Anh Vu.
