I just spent an amazing two days on Phu Quoc Island in southern Vietnam, taking pre-wedding photographs for a young couple from Hanoi, Huong and Anh. It was the end of a super busy stretch of work that had me traveling pretty constantly for the past three weeks or so, with very little time spent at home in the capital. But it was a great way to end. Huong and Anh couldn’t have been nicer, and they even sent me off with several packages of pepper (a local specialty), dried squid and some crazy looking spiky plums that I had never seen before.
The above image is one of the last that I took from the trip. Tomorrow night I’m off to France for a much-deserved vacation. I should be back in Hanoi just in time for the brutally hot summer heat to have set in. There’s so much to say and so very little time to say it.
