Life’s been busy lately, and I’ve been trying to get some new creative projects off the ground. I leave for Malaysia on Monday and I’m excited to be able to step away from the computer for a bit and figure out a few things that I want to accomplish this year. I’ll be shooting more film for personal projects, slowing down a little with my old 4×5 press camera and getting back to some of the things that first excited me about photography. I’d like to leave it all purposefully vague at this point and post more about things as they begin to take shape. I’m extremely happy with how I’ve grown as a photographer in the three years since I moved to Vietnam, but now I feel like its time for another great leap forward. Or at least a bumbling baby step in another direction. Maybe a slow crawl or slouch.
