I’m leaving this evening on an overnight train for the mountains of northern Vietnam, where I’ll be, sans computer and internet and most everything else, for most of the next week. Work seems to be slowing down for now, so it’s a perfect time to take a much needed vacation and do some shooting for a personal photography project I’m trying to get off the ground. I’m hoping that a week away on my own will recharge my creative battery and generate some new, good ideas. I also leave for New York in about a month, and want to have a well-rounded, updated portfolio to show editors while I’m there. So wish me luck on all that.
