Just a few images from around the Old Quarter in Hanoi. Mostly just scenes I shoot when I’m out doing something else. I think they give off a good sense of the cramped and sometimes claustrophobic ancient streets. And those raw siennas, burnt ochres and blues always remind me of this city. Among other things.
I just purchased my plane ticket to New York in October for the Eddie Adams Workshop. I’ll also be making a quick trip down to New Orleans to see my family beforehand, and then staying a few days later in New York to try to set up meetings and get together with a few friends. Hopefully. Also possibly the Chinatown bus to Boston, but that will depend on how much time I have. And everyone knows there’s never enough.
I love the pictures! If you like Vietnam come check out my posts.
Thanks Maurice. Great site as well. Are you in Sri Lanka?
